About Us

Canine Country Club started serving their clientele in early 1995 in a large warehouse behind the Newgate Mall.

After two years there we moved to a cute little farm house with an acre of land in West Ogden where we still reside today.

Our goal is to offer large play areas and socialization for those fun loving dogs who need a place to stay while their family is hard at work or on vacation.

Vickie has been working and training dogs for over 30 years so you can feel comfortable knowing she will take the very best care of your dog that can be offered.

With a background as a veterinary technician for 10 years you can be assured she will be aware of all of your pet’s needs during their stay.

The acre is divided into several large play areas so you won’t have to worry about your dog being crowded into areas with twenty other dogs.

Once your companion has been temperament evaluated they will be  put in a play area with dogs that fit their personality and size.  Generally there are no more than four or five dogs in each play section, leaving plenty of room for rambunctious play or if they prefer, a nice rest under a shady tree or swim in a pool filled with cold clean well water.

The areas are cleaned twice a day and fresh water is available at all times.

Though most of the area is set up for outdoor play, they have access to the indoors at all times.  Usually they only go in to get out of the weather or to take an afternoon siesta away from the other dogs.  All the rooms are air-conditioned or heated, depending on the time of year.

Beds are made from four inch mattress cushions with large pillow cases to cover them making washing simple for us.

Its not home, but it will do…..

At least until you get back.  A thought to remember when you get back from vacation:

Your dog has played for days and will be very tired when he/she gets home.  So don’t panic if they just come home and sleep for two days.  Just enjoy the peace and quiet…..
